Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, your role will involve understanding the entire system end-to-end and being actively involved in every step of the software development process, including designing, development, and testing. You will define and implement test strategy for complex end-to-end systems, create test scenarios and acceptance tests, and develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms like Web, Mobile, and Desktop by incorporating industry best practices. It will be your responsibility to implement Behavior Driven Development processes, create and manage defects, and conduct root cause analysis of functional and non-functional defects using engineering principles and data analysis best practices. You will collaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, network engineers, and QA engineers to ensure smooth functioning of the testing processes within the SAFe methodology. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the entire system end to end and be involved in every step of the software development process - Define and implement test strategy for complex end-to-end systems - Define and build test scenarios and acceptance tests - Develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms - Implement Behavior Driven Development processes - Create and manage defects - Conduct root cause analysis of functional and non-functional defects - Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the SAFe methodology Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Engineering with 6 to 10 years of experience in testing in an enterprise environment - Strong experience in the Retail industry and business - Hands-on experience with JavaScript/C# - Extensive experience in test automation using tools like PlayWright, Selenium, CodedUI, etc. - Expertise in developing BDD feature files using Specflow/Cucumber - Experience in API and Database testing and automation - Familiarity with "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodology - Good understanding of software architecture with the ability to provide recommendations and strategy for non-functional testing initiatives - Strong problem-solving skills and personal accountability (Note: No additional details about the company were mentioned in the job description.),
