SDET Testing

As an SDET at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for cross-service integration, focusing on REST APIs, internal Java libraries, and service-to-service communication. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test coverage, support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and write reusable and scalable automation scripts using BDD tools like Cucumber. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement test strategies for cross-service integration, ensuring quality in REST APIs and internal Java libraries. - Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using BDD tools like Cucumber. - Collaborate with teams to review code, define test cases, and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. - Write reusable automation scripts using industry-standard test frameworks. - Integrate automated tests into deployment workflows using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab. - Validate end-to-end workflows leveraging knowledge of MySQL and data modeling. - Contribute to test architecture development and refinement. - Monitor and report on test execution results using appropriate tools. - Support performance testing efforts and integrate monitoring solutions. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience in cross-service integration testing, REST APIs validation, and Java libraries. - Knowledge of tools like Opensearch, developer tools, postman, mySQL, and InteliJ. - Skilled in implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks. - Familiarity with performance testing concepts and monitoring basics. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS Cloud services.
