As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Playwright, you will be responsible for driving high-quality software delivery using modern testing frameworks. With over 7 years of experience, you will play a key role in ensuring the automation of UI, API, and end-to-end testing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include leveraging your strong experience with Playwright, specifically in TypeScript/JavaScript, to develop and execute automated tests. You will also be proficient in utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD for continuous integration and delivery. In addition to your technical skills, you should have experience in REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. A solid understanding of programming and OOP principles is essential for this role, along with familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum practices. While not mandatory, experience with Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, BDD frameworks like Cucumber and SpecFlow, and cloud testing tools such as BrowserStack and Sauce Labs would be advantageous. Knowledge of accessibility and cross-browser testing is also a plus.
