Job Description

Role Overview: As a QA with extensive experience in automation development, strategy, and testing skills, you will be an integral part of the dynamic team at Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Reporting to the Senior Manager Engineering, QA - NCM Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that product releases maintain the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop a testing framework for products to ensure adherence to quality norms - Develop test tools, test cases, and maintain test beds - Provide metrics and test/quality status for continuous improvement - Actively participate in Coding & Code reviews for efficient product development - Enable engineers to generate known-quality releases with every commit - Discover defects early and iterate fast for swift product enhancements - Build and maintain an Automation Framework for seamless testing processes - Utilize automation and building tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, REST API, and SDK - Demonstrate expertise in programming and scripting with languages like Python, C++, Perl, Go, and Java - Possess a strong systems background with exposure to Linux systems and management tools - Showcase strong coding skills in Data Structures and Algorithms - Have a good understanding of Kubernetes for effective application management Qualifications Required: - Be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment - Own the automation and delivery systems to drive efficiency - Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in QA and automation testing Additional Details: The role operates in a hybrid work arrangement, offering the benefits of remote work and in-person collaboration.
