SDET II (JavaScript / Typescript)

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Cucumber. Your role will involve performing API testing using tools like Postman and automating API tests using JavaScript-based frameworks. You should possess proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript programming to analyze and handle both simple and complex JSON responses programmatically. Additionally, you will need to have experience working with SCM tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Teamcity, GitLab CICD. A basic understanding of Docker, containers, and related concepts is required to effectively debug and troubleshoot test failures for ensuring high-quality test coverage. Collaboration with developers, testers, and stakeholders to enhance software quality is a key aspect of your role. You will be expected to follow and contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Documenting test cases, test results, and defects with clear communication is essential.
