As an experienced SDET/Developer, you will have the opportunity to excel in testing complex microservices systems, web, and mobile applications while interacting with databases and other backend systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation frameworks for large-scale real-time server-side systems. You will take charge of non-functional testing aspects such as Performance, Scale, Longevity, Security, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery of a 24x7 system. Additionally, you will actively participate in performance testing, upgrade/migration activities, and proof of concept of framework/tools for automation. Your role will also involve end-to-end testing of features/products, encompassing both manual (as a prelude to automation) and automation testing. You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of experience as an SDET/Developer. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential for this role. Exposure to frameworks like Rest Assured, Selenium, and Appium, as well as familiarity with AWS or any other cloud ecosystem, will be advantageous. Proficiency in tools such as GIT, Jenkins, or similar is also desired. As a candidate for this position, you are expected to have a keen interest in destructive testing, advocating for an Automation-First approach. You should be hands-on and keep abreast of the latest technologies. Problem-solving and attention to detail should be among your strengths.
