The job is a full-time internship role based in Gurgaon with Parentune, a rapidly growing parents" network. Parentune.com is dedicated to supporting parents in their journey to do more for their child by providing a trusted platform for connecting with verified parents and experts, accessing useful applications, and finding reliable information. As a Backend Developer Intern at Parentune, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the development and maintenance of backend microservices using Python and Django. You will collaborate with designers and backend/frontend developers to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. Participating in code reviews, bug fixes, and troubleshooting will be essential to ensure the quality and performance of the Parentune app. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BTech or equivalent degree with relevant experience in backend technologies such as Python, Django, Mysql, Flask, MVC frameworks (Flask/Django), and GCP. Additionally, you should have completed projects in Python and Django/Flask and be active on competitive coding platforms like Leadcode, HackerRank, Codeforces, and GFG. The internship program offers hands-on learning and training, a certificate upon completion of the 6-month internship, the opportunity to work with a cross-functional engineering team, chances to enhance interpersonal and professional skills, and the potential for a performance-based placement in a permanent role with a current success rate of 50%. Please note that the internship duration is a minimum of 6 months, and it is a paid internship.
