As an experienced professional with 4-7 years of relevant work experience in the IT industry, your role at our company based in Whitefield, Bangalore will involve the following responsibilities: - Good development practices - Hands-on coding experience in programming languages like Python or PySpark - Proficiency in the Big Data stack including Hadoop, Mapreduce, Spark, Hbase, and ElasticSearch - Strong understanding of programming principles and development practices such as check-in policy, unit testing, and code deployment - Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies, and implement them in large-scale engineering developments - Extensive experience in application development, support, integration development, and data management - Design and implementation of APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to solve challenging distributed computing problems - Defining technical requirements, data extraction, data transformation, automating jobs, productionizing jobs, and exploring new big data technologies within a Parallel Processing environment In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess: - Track record of relevant work experience with a degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline - Experience with functional and object-oriented programming in Python or PySpark - Hands-on experience with the Big Data stack, AWS services, and working with APIs and microservices - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers from diverse backgrounds - Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred qualifications include: - Experience in agile methodology - Knowledge of database modeling, data mining, warehousing, and architecture and delivery of Enterprise scale applications - Capability in developing frameworks, design patterns, and guiding junior staff - Working with large, complex datasets from various sources Your role at our company will require you to be a strategic thinker with an out-of-the-box approach, analytical, data-driven, intellectually sharp, talented, energetic, entrepreneurial, agile, and capable of both leadership and hands-on execution.,
