As a Software Development Engineer 3 (SDE-3) at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing end-to-end new features for our platform. If you are a talented developer who can learn quickly and work with minimal supervision, we invite you to join our dynamic engineering team. **Responsibilities:** - **Design and Develop:** Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Go, Java, Node.js, and Python. - **Architecture and Scalability:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for backend architecture and system scalability. - **Database Management:** Optimize queries and ensure data integrity in various databases to deliver high-performance backend solutions. - **API Development:** Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in a micro-services architecture for seamless integration with other micro-services and front-end applications. - **Code Review:** Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers. - **Performance Optimization:** Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend applications. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products. - **Documentation:** Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend codebase and APIs. **External Skills And Expertise:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (A master's degree is a plus) from a Tier-1 college. - **Experience:** 4+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a Product based company. **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Java, Node.js, and Python. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with microservices architecture. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Knowledge of best practices for code optimization and security. - Familiarity with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
