As a Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE-2) at our company, you will join our dynamic engineering team to develop end-to-end new features for the platform. You will work on multiple subsystems and web services, contributing to all layers of a web product. If you are a talented developer who values autonomy, enjoys challenges, believes in getting things done, and can work with minimal supervision, we invite you to come join us. **Responsibilities:** - **Design and Develop:** Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Go, Java, Node.js, and Python. - **Architecture and Scalability:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for backend architecture and system scalability. - **Database Management:** Work with various databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity for high-performance backend solutions. - **API Development:** Develop and maintain RESTful APIs in a micro-services architecture for seamless integration with other micro-services and front-end applications. - **Code Review:** Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers. - **Performance Optimization:** Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend applications. - **Collaboration:** Work with front-end developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products. - **Documentation:** Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend codebase and APIs. **EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS:** - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (A master's degree is a plus) from a Tier 1 college. - **Experience:** 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a Product based company. **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in at least one programming language among Go, Java, NodeJs, and Python. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with microservices architecture. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Knowledge of best practices for code optimization and security. - Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
