As a Principal Engineer - Pipeline at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), you will be responsible for working within the pipeline design team on onshore pipeline projects and ensuring the integrity of Onshore Pipeline design is maintained throughout the project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain technical competence in discipline and actively pursue continuous professional development. - Design and construct metallic and non-metallic pipeline designs according to international codes. - Prepare and review FEED and Detailed design Pipeline scopes and related deliverables. - Conduct Pipeline mechanical calculations for pipeline systems. - Develop specifications, data sheets, Material requisitions, and TBEs for Pipeline specialty items. - Create Pipeline Construction specifications, External coating, FJC, and SOW for construction. - Generate Pipeline drawings such as Alignment sheets, route maps, crossing drawings, etc. - Define Pipeline survey Scope of work and schematic diagrams. - Develop the Pipeline Crossing matrix and Material take-off with specifications. - Perform Pipeline stress analysis and report using CAESAR II and AUTO Pipe. - Manage vendor documents for specialty items and technical reports related to pipelines. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience in feasibility, engineering projects, and EPC / EPCM projects. - Proficiency in Pipeline Basis of Design, Alignment Sheets, Route Maps, Material Grade Calculations, etc. - Knowledge of Pipeline Codes & Standards, technical evaluation of vendors, and engineering software such as MS Office, CAESAR II, AutoCAD, MathCAD.
