About SCNJTek SCNJTek is a California-based company with an India team in Pune. We work in: Contract manufacturing and CNC machining Design-to-delivery support Oil and process filtration AI-based solutions for factories We sell mainly to industrial customers in India and the USA. Role Summary We are looking for a Marketing Engineer in Pune (onsite). This person will: Do market research Do outreach to customers (mainly B2B) Help in lead generation Support other marketing and networking work we are already doing for SCNJTek You will work directly with the founders. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Research Find companies that can be SCNJTek customers OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers Job shops and contract manufacturers Oil and gas, process plants, maintenance service companies Build simple Excel lists with company name, contact person, email, phone, LinkedIn profile. Research consultants and specialists relevant for SCNJTek (for example: maintenance consultants, marine engine consultants, filtration experts, manufacturing specialists). Research distributors, reps and connectors in the USA and India who can open doors for SCNJTek. Research SBDCs, chambers of commerce, industry bodies and networking groups that can help us reach more customers (especially around California, Texas, Northeast USA). Track events, exhibitions, conferences, webinars where SCNJTek can participate. 2. Outreach and Lead Generation Send introductory emails and LinkedIn messages to prospects using formats given by SCNJTek. Do basic follow-ups by email, LinkedIn and phone (where needed). Fix intro calls and meetings for the founders with good prospects. Support small pilot offers and explain basic benefits and KPIs to the customer in simple language. Coordinate with freelancers and external lead generation partners (India and USA) – give them data, track their work, and collect reports. 3. Content and Marketing Support Help create simple 1-pagers, PPTs and PDFs for: Contract manufacturing Oil filtration products AI / throughput improvement solutions Case studies and success stories Help prepare LinkedIn posts, basic articles and email content based on inputs from founders. Support planning for short videos and influencer content for the USA market (for example: oil filtration influencers, industrial content creators). Prepare basic briefs for designers, video editors or freelancers when required. 4. Relationship and Network Support Maintain a database of important contacts for SCNJTek, such as: Industrial distributors and reps Maintenance and filtration consultants Lawyers, CPAs, business advisors, IP attorneys (business-oriented) SBDCs, chambers of commerce, and industry associations Help plan workshops, webinars and guest talks for industrial companies and industry bodies. 5. Reporting and Coordination Maintain daily and weekly reports of: Prospects added Emails / messages sent Responses received Meetings fixed Keep all data clean and updated in Excel / Google Sheets / simple CRM. Share regular updates with founders and suggest simple, practical improvements. Desired Profile Education: Diploma / BE / BTech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial or similar), OR Any graduate with good English and strong interest in industrial B2B marketing. Experience: 1–4 years in B2B marketing / inside sales / lead generation / pre-sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial services, OR fresher with very strong communication skills and high learning ability. Skills: Basic understanding or strong interest in engineering and manufacturing. Good written and spoken English; Hindi will be useful. Able to write simple, clear emails and LinkedIn messages. Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets and online research. Ready to learn new tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, simple CRM, email tools. Work Details Mode: Onsite, Pune office. Timings: Indian business hours, with flexibility for some evening calls with USA if needed. Compensation: As per experience and skills.
