Scientist Electrochemistry

As a Material Scientist specialized in electrochemistry at Ohmium, you will play a crucial role in correlating material knowledge to the electrochemistry of devices, defining specifications for materials in electrochemical systems to ensure efficiency and reliability, and studying new techniques in electrochemical engineering to enhance our processes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and develop new materials, processes, and testing methodologies for Electrolyser components - Execute material level tests to expand knowledge on components - Lead problem-solving activities on component and device level - Collaborate with cross-functional engineers - Support relevant activities in lab and pilot scale operations - Support the characterization of materials using advanced techniques, analyze, and troubleshoot Qualifications: - PhD in Science/Engineering (Materials science/Physics/Chemistry) - Applied research experience in device-level electrochemistry - Strong knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques in electrochemistry and materials - High professional and ethical standards - Attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills - Ability to multitask across projects and meet deliverables on time - Productive and efficient team player with creativity, adaptability, and minimal supervision - Self-starter with a can-do attitude At Ohmium, we are an equal opportunity employer who values diversity and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees.,
