As a Scientist, Document Control at Herbalife Nutrition, your role is crucial in ensuring that raw material specifications align with company and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with various teams to facilitate timely raw material change approvals, contributing to nutrition innovation and product quality enhancement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct technical assessments of raw material documents to determine their suitability for Inner and/or Outer Nutrition. - Provide mentorship and support to Document Sourcing teams on raw material specifications, documentation, and Agile procedures. - Formulate, evaluate, and adjust raw material specifications in an Agile context, in collaboration with Research and Development, Global Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, and other relevant teams. - Route raw material change requests and change orders in Agile, ensuring timely approvals. - Verify that raw materials used in new formulas meet standards for contract manufacturers. - Communicate with Global Regulatory Affairs regarding specific country testing requirements. - Address and resolve issues related to raw material specifications with suppliers and manufacturers. - Maintain detailed records of raw materials. **Qualifications Required:** - **Skills:** - Fundamental understanding of raw material documents and processes. - Attention to detail in identifying document acceptability. - Results-driven with a history of meeting objectives. - Strong customer service and relationship management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Analytical skills for implementing changes. - Strong planning and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Adaptability and flexibility in a team environment. - **Experience:** - 4-5 years of QA/QC experience in an FDA regulated sector. - Previous laboratory testing experience in related industries. - **Education:** - Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
