Description:

We are a Preschool to Grade 12 school in the city of Rajkot (Gujarat) founded by Harvard alums. Our unique pedagogy, the Northstar Approach, is a research-based approach to learning and teaching that helps students achieve their highest potential by exploring and making discoveries about themselves and their world. Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach lessons following the Northstar Approach.

• Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching styles.

• Regularly participate in collaborative curriculum planning and development, and work with colleagues to deliver effective team teaching when possible.

• Develop and implement relevant assessments for both formative and summative evaluations as well as for uncovering student’s potential initial misconceptions.

• Keep parents informed about student progress and attend parent meetings.

• Be a champion and disseminator of the Northstar Approach inside and outside the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline. Prior experience in teaching at progressive organizations is beneficial
