As a Trained Graduate Teacher specializing in Biology, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging Biology lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Your primary role will involve preparing lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and assignments to facilitate student learning. Additionally, you will conduct biology experiments and practical sessions to provide students with hands-on learning experiences. Your duties will also include designing and evaluating tests, quizzes, and exams to gauge student understanding and performance. Maintaining classroom discipline and creating an inclusive learning environment are crucial aspects of this role. You will be expected to communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and academic performance. Active participation in school events, science exhibitions, and academic programs is essential. As a mentor, you will provide academic guidance, support, and career counseling to students interested in science fields. Collaborating with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences will also be part of your responsibilities. Key skills for this position include a strong understanding of Biology concepts, excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to simplify complex biological concepts for students, effective classroom management, and familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and lab equipment.
