We are hiring for a " Librarian "for primary section at Arya Gurukul School. Location : Arya Gurukul, Vidyanagari, 100 Feet Rd, Kalyan East, Nandivali, Maharashtra 421306 Experience : 2+ years Salary : Negotiable Skill Job Description: · Keep records of circulation and materials. · Supervise budgeting, planning, and personnel activities. · Check books in and out of the library. · Code, classify, and catalogue books, publications, films, audio-visual aids, and other library materials based on subject matter or standard library classification systems. · Direct and train library staff in duties such as receiving, shelving, researching, cataloging, and equipment use. · Develop library policies and procedures. · Organize the book fair. · Ensuring that library services meet the needs of particular groups of users (eg staff, students). · Responsible for organizing and managing collections of journals, books, magazines, newspapers, electronic documents, and other data resources. · Responsible for conducting story time lectures at primary level. · Guide the students to get material of the appropriate reading level. · Foster a love of learning and reading in each student. · Keep list of books ready for the purchase before the end of the academic year.
