Installation & ConfigurationSet up smart card printers and integrate with visitor/employee management systems. Configure drivers, firmware, and connectivity (USB, Ethernet, serial ports). Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and preventive maintenance. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (print heads, ribbons, encoders) and software errors. Replace defective parts and manage printer inventory. Integration & Support Work with IT teams to integrate printers with databases, access control, and NFC/smart card encoding systems. Provide technical support and training to end-users on printer operation and troubleshooting. Documentation & Reporting Maintain service logs, track consumables, and document resolutions. Prepare technical diagrams and workflow documentation for client presentations.
