In collaboration with IIT Kanpur, we aim to create the world's largest connected climate-smart platform, positively transforming global agriculture.Job Overview:ScaNxt is seeking a Soil Chemist Intern to assist in soil analysis in our advanced soil laboratories. The intern will work with experienced agronomists and soil scientists to perform chemical analysis, interpret results, and contribute to precision agriculture practices.Key Responsibilities:Conduct chemical analysis of soil samples to determine pH, EC, OC, N, P, K, and other essential parameters.Assist in the preparation and standardization of reagents and solutions for laboratory tests.Perform tests using instruments such as Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Flame Photometer, Kjeldahl Apparatus and pH/EC meters.Analyze and interpret soil test data to assess nutrient status and soil fertility.Maintain accurate laboratory records, ensuring compliance with standard operating proceduresCollaborate with team members to prepare reports and provide insights for agricultural decision-making. Required Qualifications & SkillsB.Sc. in Agriculture, Diploma in Agriculture, B.Sc. in Chemistry, or any related field.(Basic understanding of soil chemistry, nutrient management, and laboratory procedures., Familiarity with standard soil testing methods and equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., Ability to work independently and as part of a team., Good communication and report-writing skills.)
