Scaffolding Estimator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Scaffolding Estimator to work remotely as part of our Estimating Team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for scaffolding projects across the commercial sector. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong, and capable of delivering high-quality estimate, while collaborating closely with our internal teams in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Review: Analyse project documentation, architectural drawings, and engineering specifications to determine scaffolding requirements.
• Estimation: Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labour, logistics, and equipment based on project scopes.
• Tendering: Produce and submit competitive bids, tenders, and quotations in line with deadlines.
• Collaboration: Communicate regularly with local project teams, supervisors, and clients via email, Teams, and other remote channels.
• Technical Support: Provide recommendations on scaffold design, load requirements, and compliance with Australian Standards.
• Process Development: Contribute to refining internal estimation tools, templates, and pricing models.
• Mentorship: Support junior estimators by providing technical input and guidance when required.
• Data Management: Maintain records of historical estimates, supplier information, and completed submissions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3/5 years’ experience in scaffolding estimation.
• Strong knowledge of modular and system scaffolds (e.g., Kwikstage, Layher, Tube & Fitting).
• Familiarity with construction codes and regulations is highly desirable
• Advanced proficiency with estimation tools and Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to manage remote collaboration effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines consistently.
• Relevant qualifications in construction, estimation, or engineering (desirable but not essential).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
