Job Description

Role Overview: You are a dynamic and experienced AI/Gen AI Retail Specialist (Manager level) responsible for leading the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions in the retail sector. Your role demands a combination of technical expertise, retail industry knowledge, and leadership skills to drive impactful AI and Gen AI initiatives. You will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance retail performance in areas such as merchandising, pricing, customer engagement, and product assortment. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your deep understanding of the retail industry to design AI solutions addressing critical business needs in retail, including merchandising, customer behavior, and product lifecycle. - Supervise teams in building, validating, and deploying ML/DL models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face. - Lead the development and implementation of GenAI-powered tools. - Design and implement AI algorithms and generative models tailored to the retail sector, such as machine learning, deep learning, GPT, and GANs. - Create AI models for various use cases across the customer lifecycle, personalized customer experiences, pricing optimization, and product assortment. - Translate data insights into actionable strategies for marketing, merchandising, and customer experience teams, such as identifying cross-selling opportunities and optimizing product assortments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand retail business challenges and translate them into AI-driven solutions. - Communicate the potential of AI solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives. Qualifications Required: - Msc. Statistics, B.Tech. / M.Tech Computer Science, Econometrics, Data Science - Retail tech experience in e-commerce, fashion, grocery, or quick-commerce segments. - Knowledge of ethical AI practices and responsible AI governance. - Experience working with APIs of commercial LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic).
