In the role of Lead- Global Sustainability, your mission will involve leading and driving the implementation of sustainable practices and initiatives across the organization. You will foster a culture of environmental responsibility, social consciousness, and ethical governance, ensuring sustainability targets are met and supporting the integration of sustainability into Dormer Pramet's overall business strategy. While this role does not involve direct reports, it entails wide stakeholder management responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a forward-thinking sustainability strategy aligned with the company's core values and industry best practices. - Lead the development of corporate sustainability procedures and guidelines in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards through stakeholder collaboration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability considerations into business operations, products, and services. - Drive efforts to reduce environmental impact, promote resource efficiency, and identify innovation opportunities. - Implement best practices across the organization and ensure their effective execution. - Engage with internal and external partners to promote sustainability initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement. - Stay informed about emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to keep the company's practices cutting-edge. - Educate and inspire employees at all levels about the importance of sustainability and their role in achieving goals. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in driving sustainability efforts at a senior level within multinational organizations. Proficiency in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and UN SDGs, along with experience in implementing sustainable practices, is essential. Knowledge and experience in GHG Protocol emissions, emissions management, Net Zero programs, and SBTI targets are required. Given our global presence, experience in managing virtual teams across multiple countries and time zones is valuable. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field and have a minimum of 7 years" documented experience in leading sustainability efforts. We are seeking a visionary individual with strong change management skills, the ability to influence at an organizational level, and a results-oriented approach to project management. Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are crucial, along with the capacity to drive change, implement initiatives, and influence at all levels of the organization. While experience with regenerative or circular solutions is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. This position is a home-office role based in India, Thailand, Slovakia, Poland, or the Czech Republic and will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and QEHS at Dormer Pramet.
