First-piece inspection: Conduct a thorough "first-piece" inspection using precision measuring instruments to verify the initial part meets specifications before the full run begins. Quality checks: Continuously monitor the process and inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards. Fine-tune programs: Post-edit CNC programs to "fine-tune" the process for better efficiency and accuracy.
Hose assembly: Perform the primary manufacturing duties, including cutting, crimping, and assembling hoses based on customer or engineering specifications. Equipment operation: Safely and efficiently operate and maintain specialized hose manufacturing equipment, such as hose crimpers and cutting machines. Quality control: Conduct pressure testing, inspect finished hose assemblies for leaks, and verify that products meet required industry standards (e.g., ISO, SAE) and customer specifications. Inventory management: Track and manage components such as hoses, fittings, and adapters. Assist with physical inventory counts and organization. Troubleshooting and repair: Help diagnose and resolve technical issues during the assembly process. May also assist in minor equipment repair.
