Job Title: Baking Assistant Job Summary: The Baking Assistant supports the head baker or pastry chef in daily baking operations, ensuring the preparation, production, and presentation of baked goods meet quality and hygiene standards. This role involves assisting with measuring, mixing, baking, decorating, maintaining cleanliness, and managing inventory. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings. Operate and clean baking equipment (mixers, ovens, etc.). Follow recipes and instructions accurately to maintain consistency. Support with decorating cakes, pastries, and other baked products. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished goods. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking area. Assist in inventory checks and replenishing baking supplies. Comply with food safety and workplace safety guidelines. Skills & Qualifications: Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication skills.
