Company Description: Trust & Family office Role Objective: To manage and safeguard all estate assets - including land, properties and associated institutions Key Responsibilities: A. Land & Property Management: Maintain updated records of all estate owned farming lands and buildings. Handle land revenue matters including mutation, taxation and title verification. Liaise with government officials (Revenue Department, registrar, Panchayat, etc) for property documentation and compliance. Ensure protection of estate property from encroachment or legal disputes. Supervise estate infrastructure maintenance and development works. B. Licensing & Government Compliance: Handle all government licensing, renewals, permissions and NOC's related to estate properties and operations. Ensure compliance with local municipal, revenue and environmental laws. Maintain accurate documentation for inspections and audits. Stay updated on land and estate-related government policy changes. Track estate income from rent, donations and leases, ensuring accurate collection and accounting. Monitor expenses for estate and temple operations to ensure budget adherence. Submit monthly revenue and expense reports to management. Assist auditors with documentation and verification during audits. C. People & Liaison Management: Supervise estate staff, caretakers and administrative personnel. Act as the liaison officer between the estate, government authorities and local communities. Handle grievances, negotiations with villagers, tenants and local influencers professionally and tactfully. Educational & Professional Background: Graduate/Post-graduate in Law, Land Management, Public Administration or Real Estate. Minimum 9-12 years of experience in estate, land or property management, preferably in West Bengal. Strong network with local revenue offices and licensing authorities. Prior experience managing temple or trust estates will be an advantage. Required Skills and Competencies: Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write and speak English & Bengali. Government liaison registration & licensing: Deep understanding of land laws, property procedures in West Bengal. Documentation: Knowledge of land deeds tenancy acts, lease agreements and relevant paperwork. Integrity & confidentiality: High ethical standards in handing sensitive information. Leadership & co-ordination: Ability to lead estate staff and manage external agencies. Reporting & Evaluation: Reports to the Managing Director Monthly MIS and documentation reports submitted on or before 5th of each month or on request. Benefits: Accommodation & food will be provided.
