Position Overview The Project Manager will oversee and execute multiple residential and commercial automation projects—from design validation to final handover. The role requires coordination between clients, architects, designers, and internal teams to ensure timely, quality, and cost-effective project delivery in line with Sattva’s standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Plan, schedule, and monitor all stages of automation projects (wiring, device installation, programming, testing, and commissioning). Prepare and track project timelines, BOQs, budgets, and milestones using Zoho Projects. Ensure adherence to project scope and prevent scope creep without client approvals. 2. Coordination & Communication Act as the single point of contact between clients, architects, site contractors, and internal Sattva teams. Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare daily/weekly reports for management. Communicate red flags and potential risks proactively to management. 3. Quality & Standards Ensure all installations meet Sattva’s Technical Standards SOP for wiring, labeling, and device placement. Perform site inspections and quality checks before handover. Verify that programming and integration are done as per approved design and brand standards (ABB, Casambi, Lutron, etc.). 4. Team & Resource Management Supervise Assistant Project Managers, Executives, and installation teams. Coordinate with the procurement and design departments to ensure timely availability of materials and drawings. Manage and evaluate vendor/outsourced technician performance. 5. Handover & Documentation Conduct testing, commissioning, and final client demonstration. Ensure project completion documentation, handover reports, and client sign-offs are properly filed in Zoho. Collect feedback and report any post-handover issues for service scheduling. Required Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of home automation systems, networking, and electrical layouts. Excellent project coordination, people management, and client communication skills. Proficiency in project management tools (preferably Zoho Projects, MS Excel, and MS Project). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD preferred). Analytical thinking with attention to detail and deadlines. Qualifications & Experience Education: Diploma or B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in project management within automation, electrical, or AV industries. Exposure to ABB, Casambi, Lutron, KNX, or Control4 systems is highly desirable. Performance Metrics (KPIs) Project delivery within defined timelines and budgets. Client satisfaction score post-handover. Reduction in rework or quality non-compliance issues.
