Description
In this role as a Design Manager at EY-Parthenon's Venture Building practice, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of designers to deliver high-quality design outputs across various platforms, such as presentation materials, digital product interfaces, and video content. Your responsibilities will include team leadership, project management, quality assurance, client/internal team engagement, strategic input, design process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, innovation facilitation, brand guardianship, and trend awareness. You will be required to have a Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field, at least 7 years of professional design experience with 3 years in a leadership role, expertise in Adobe CC Suite, Figma, video editing tools, and proficiency in English. Your skills should include leadership acumen, strategic thinking, client focus, communication excellence, problem-solving mindset, adaptability, detail orientation, time management, emotional intelligence, and business acumen. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Team Leadership:** Manage, mentor, and develop a team of designers with diverse skill sets - **Project Management:** Oversee multiple design workstreams, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure deadlines are met - **Quality Assurance:** Establish and maintain design standards, review deliverables, and provide constructive feedback - **Client/Internal Team Engagement:** Translate requirements into creative design briefs and present concepts to stakeholders - **Strategic Input:** Contribute to the strategic direction of design solutions aligned with business objectives - **Design Process Optimization:** Implement efficient workflows and methodologies to increase productivity and turnaround time - **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Partner with business entrepreneurs, strategy consultants, product managers, and developers - **Innovation Facilitation:** Lead design thinking workshops and innovation sessions - **Brand Guardianship:** Ensure design deliverables adhere to client brand guidelines while maintaining creative integrity - **Trend Awareness:** Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and methodologies **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field - 7+ years of professional design experience with 3 years in a leadership role - Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in presentation design, UX/UI, and multimedia content - Proficiency in Adobe CC Suite, Figma, video editing tools, and MS Office - Understanding of user-centered design methodologies and design thinking approaches - Experience managing design projects in corporate environments If you choose to join EY-Parthenon's Venture Building practice, you will be part of a growing global team that collaborates with organizations to innovate at the speed of a start-up and deliver breakthrough impact.
