Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Room Cleaning Clean assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies as per standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust all furniture and fixtures. Report maintenance issues or damages to the Supervisor. Ensure the room is fully stocked and ready before guest check-in. 2. Public Area Cleaning Clean and maintain lobbies, corridors, elevators, and restrooms. Empty trash bins and replace liners. Polish mirrors, glass, and furniture regularly. Maintain hygiene and neatness in all guest-visible areas. 3. Laundry and Linen Collect, count, and send soiled linen to the laundry. Receive and stack clean linen neatly in the linen room. Check for stains or damages and report to Supervisor. 4. Guest Interaction Greet guests politely and assist with minor requests. Handle guest belongings carefully and maintain confidentiality. Follow Lost & Found procedures strictly. 5. Equipment & Chemicals Operate housekeeping machines (vacuum, floor scrubber, etc.) safely. Use cleaning chemicals as per instructions and safety standards. Maintain housekeeping trolley and tools in clean, working condition. 6. Health, Safety & Hygiene Follow hotel safety procedures and wear protective gear as required. Display “Wet Floor” signs while cleaning to prevent accidents. Adhere to fire safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations. 7. Teamwork & Reporting Attend daily briefings and training sessions. Report to the Housekeeping Supervisor on duty completion. Support other team members during high occupancy or emergencies. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum: 10th / 12th pass. Preferred: Diploma in Hotel Management or Housekeeping. 0–2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping (freshers can be trained). Skills Required: Good communication and grooming. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Time management and discipline. Customer service attitude. Basic understanding of cleaning tools and chemicals. Work Conditions: Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physically active role requiring standing, bending, and lifting. Uniform and ID card must be worn at all times.
