About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Set up and operate CNC turning machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, threading, and boring of metallic and non-metallic workpieces. 2. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements. 3. Program CNC turning machines using CAM software to generate part programs for various components. 4. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job. 5. Conduct tool changes, offsets, and tool adjustments to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances. 6. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. 7. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime.
