Roles & responsibilities Work closely with designers and support them all stages of Product development. Work closely with vendors and ensure that new products developed on time of the given designs in target costs. Record cost elements and consumption while product development, negotiate well to Produce at competitive rates. Find ways of meeting the target costs without deviating aesthetic, functional and quality elements. Develop alternate vendors and sub clusters to meet capacity, costing and quality requirements Vendor management and capacity build up Continuously explore the fresh stocks and new designs to meet the OTS requirements. Motivate and ensure Taneira is first preference of the vendors. Production planning, coordination and Ensuring on time deliveries and sharper lead times Issue the PO on time / ensure Inwards are done on time and vendor payment goes on time Support Coordination with QC for Product risk factors discover, preventive measures Midline Inspection and PDI Planning Pre dispatch documents verification and shipping authorisation. Lead time analysis and sharpen the lead times. Cluster level special projects ground level execution
