ROLE OVERVIEW
The individual will lead and manage end-to-end delivery of SAP transformation programs across Retail, Fashion, Consumer Products, Wholesale, Apparel Manufacturing and Sports.
He/she will be responsible for:
- Building SAP Grow and SAP Rise practice focused on India/APAC
- Solution support during presales and estimation processes
- Support any SAP Global delivery initiatives from India
- Responsible for market growth from a delivery point of view. Will closely work with APAC Head and Sales Leadership
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
- Profit and loss responsibility for SAP practice focused on Retail and Fashion industries, including revenue targets, cost management, and profitability optimization
- Development and execution of business strategies and value-added offerings to expand market presence and capture new opportunities
- Building and maintaining executive-level client relationships across industries
- Leading proposal development alongside the sales team and efficient pricing strategies for large-scale SAP implementations
2.Delivery Excellence and Portfolio Management
- Oversee multiple concurrent SAP transformation programs
- Accountable for project financials, budget control, project profitability, delivery timelines, and deliverable quality across engagements
- Adjust project scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure optimal delivery
- Establish and maintain delivery standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Establish additional delivery competency alongside new technology and offerings
3.SAP S/4 Retail and Fashion Subject Matter Expert
- Lead a SAP Retail and Fashion, Functional and Technical team, bringing expertise in strategic pricing, master data, trade compliance, price optimization, omni channel retail pricing, etc.
- Work with SAP BTP framework and SAP Integration Suite
- Work with Retail Supply Chain and integration to Retail Accounting
4.People Leadership and Organizational Development
- Build SAP RISE and SAP Grow practices
- Build and lead high-performing teams of 50+ consultants across multiple project engagements
- Hiring, performance management, and team organization of SAP, India/Asia team
- Drive professional development initiatives and career progression for team members
- Coordinate change management and training initiatives during large-scale transformations
- Manage a globally diversified delivery team, both onsite and offshore
5.
- Responsible for client satisfaction, project success, and long-term relationship development
- Guide clients through digital transformation journeys and strategic decision-making
- Oversee development and execution of value realization frameworks.
- Lead executive steering committee meetings and stakeholder management
6.
- Provide strategic direction for complex SAP solution architectures.
- Drive new AI initiatives across SAP solutions
- Drive innovation and adoption of new SAP technologies across client engagements
- Establish technical governance frameworks and quality standards
- Guide solution strategies for emerging technologies and industry trends
PREREQUISITES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Delivered global SAP and transformation programs and willingness to travel domestically and across APAC region
- Academic qualifications: BE/BTech, MBA, or CA
- Relevant and demonstrable experience of over 15 years
- Experience in managing SAP functional and technical teams
- Built practices and operating them in an agile manner
- Open to embracing the AI phenomena in a changing SAP consulting landscape and evolving delivery models
