As a SAP System Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP environments such as SAP ECC and SAP S/HANA. Your daily tasks will include monitoring and conducting health checks on SAP systems to ensure optimal system availability and performance. You will also manage SAP transport landscapes, handle transport requests, and oversee change management processes. In addition, you will be in charge of performing SAP system upgrades, patches, and system refreshes. It will be your responsibility to monitor SAP system logs, promptly resolve any system errors or issues, and manage SAP user roles and authorizations to ensure compliance with security policies. Collaboration with SAP functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues will also be part of your role. Apart from SAP system administration, you will also be involved in installing, configuring, and maintaining other critical servers such as Windows Server, Linux, and Database Servers. Your tasks will include conducting regular system backups, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, monitoring server performance, and optimizing resource utilization. Managing server security, implementing virtualization technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies, as well as planning and implementing server upgrades, patches, and security updates will also fall under your responsibilities. You will provide support for server-related issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary. Furthermore, you will collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless network connectivity for servers. You will support the IT team in managing the overall IT infrastructure, including storage, networking, and cloud services. You will assist in designing and implementing IT infrastructure projects to align with business needs. Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all server configurations, procedures, and changes will be crucial. You will be expected to generate regular reports on server performance, uptime, and security status. Additionally, you will document and maintain a disaster recovery plan for all servers. Team collaboration is essential in this role. You will work closely with the IT and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Providing training and support to end-users on server-related technologies and collaborating with other departments to understand and fulfill their IT needs will be part of your responsibilities.,
