SAP Senior Application Engineer, Procurement and Commercial Solutions

You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience along with 8 years of experience in designing and integrating internal and third-party applications. Your background should include experience in driving engineering and architecture strategies, as well as programming skills in Java or Python. It would be advantageous if you have experience in integrating custom-built solutions with vendor product offerings and finance business processes. Additionally, familiarity with web-scale databases and building scalable data pipelines capable of aggregating and processing events per day is preferred. Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) or related areas in finance engineering, as well as working with third-party tools, would also be beneficial. As part of the Corp Eng team, you will contribute to building world-leading business solutions that enhance Google's functionality for all users. The team aims to provide end-to-end solutions for various organizations within Google, ensuring that Googlers have the necessary tools, platforms, and experiences to create helpful products and services for a global audience. Your responsibilities will include implementing software products and the Software Development Life Cycle for internal applications supporting financial planning and analysis processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to address issues, foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, and influence decision-making processes. Additionally, you will partner with internal business teams to define system goals and delivery roadmaps, as well as provide technical direction and priorities for a small group of adjacent engineers.,
