Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant with deep expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP SD solutions, including experience with SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical skills in areas such as order-to-cash (OTC), pricing, billing, and taxation, along with integration knowledge across FI, MM, and PP modules.Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather and validate functional requirements.Key Responsibilities :Requirement Gathering & Business Analysis :- Analyze existing business processes and suggest improvements using SAP best practices.- Prepare Business Process Documents (BPDs), Functional Specifications, and Solution Blueprints.Solution Design & Configuration :- Configure core SAP SD components :Sales Order Types, Item Categories, Billing Types, and Delivery DocumentsPricing Procedures, Discounts, Surcharges, and Freight ConditionsTax Determination based on geographies and customer segmentsOutput Determination, Credit Management, and Rebates- Design and configure customer master, partner functions, copy control, and incompletion logs.Integration & Cross-Module Support- Ensure seamless integration with :SAP FI (for billing and revenue recognition)SAP MM (for intercompany and third-party processes)SAP PP (for make-to-order or sales-driven production processes)- Collaborate with technical teams for development and enhancements via RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Testing, Training & Documentation :- Prepare Unit Test Cases, support System Integration Testing (SIT), and guide User Acceptance Testing (UAT).- Create and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions.- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for solutions, configurations, and user guides.Support & Enhancements :- Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP SD-related issues post go-live.- Analyze change requests, estimate impact, and perform system enhancements.- Support business users with real-time troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.Technical Experience & Skills :- 5-6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD with 2+ full lifecycle implementations (at least one in S/4HANA).- Strong knowledge of :Pricing Procedures, Order Management, Billing ConfigurationTax Configuration (GST/VAT/local taxes)Delivery Scheduling, Shipping Point Determination, Availability Check (ATP)- Proficiency in Cross-functional integrations (FI, MM, PP).- Familiar with SAP S/4HANA, ASAP, and SAP Activate Methodology.- Experience in LSMW, IDOC, EDI integrations, and troubleshooting.- Ability to work with developers on custom enhancements and user exits.Soft Skills :- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Capable of working with business users, technical teams, and project managers.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications :- SAP SD Certification (preferred).- Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and ServiceNow.- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps and UI5 will be a plus.
