SAP MDM ABAP Consultant

As an experienced SAP MDM Consultant joining our team in Bangalore, you will be responsible for showcasing deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) along with strong technical and functional capabilities to lead SAP MDM/MDG projects from blueprinting through hypercare. Your role will involve collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and governance of master data across the enterprise. Your key responsibilities will include leading requirement-gathering workshops with business and IT stakeholders, performing gap analysis, defining master data models and governance processes, and designing scalable and maintainable MDM repository models aligned with business needs. You will also be responsible for leading full lifecycle MDM implementations including configuration, testing, migration, go-live, and hypercare. Providing technical and functional support for existing MDM/MDG environments and ensuring adherence to best practices and project standards during execution will be crucial. Furthermore, you will manage and support data integration using ALE/IDoc and Web Services (SOAP/REST), ensuring seamless synchronization and consistency of master data across systems. Defining and enforcing data governance frameworks and workflows will also be a part of your responsibilities. In terms of documentation and training, you will develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials. Delivering end-user training and support during testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and post-go-live phases will also be essential. Mandatory Skills: - Hands-on experience with SAP MDM (or MDG) implementation 6-9 years - Proficiency in ABAP (custom enhancements), ALE/IDoc interfaces, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) - Expertise in master data processes modeling, cleansing, governance, and workflow - Experience with ABAP on S/4HANA - Knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP 7.4 Nice-to-Have Skills: - SAP MDG experience, especially with S/4HANA - Familiarity with data migration tools like LSMW, LTMC, or Data Services - Exposure to data quality tools, dashboards, and KPI tracking In return, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale SAP projects in core industry sectors, be a part of a collaborative work culture and learning environment, and gain exposure to the latest SAP technologies and data governance frameworks.,
