Are you an SAP S4Hana FI/CO expert looking to work in a dynamic global team If you have a proven ability to design, develop, and deploy strategic solutions, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join UBS Finance Technology. In this role, you will participate in global and strategic full life cycle projects to harmonize financial and controlling processes and optimize the application landscape, mainly focusing on SAP S/4 HANA FICO. Your responsibilities will include driving IT changes by bringing a good understanding of SAP S4HANA FI process design, with at least 2 end-to-end implementation experiences in S/4 HANA for Finance processes. You will lead workshops to capture, analyze, and document business cases and requirements, building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify and prioritize opportunities to optimize and standardize business processes, challenge inconsistent processes, propose improvements, and ensure application configuration and development initiatives are well managed and delivered on expectations. As part of the incident management processes (3rd level support), you will drive continuous improvement to stabilize the environment and improve efficiency. Collaboration with peers within the IT organization and across multiple business units will be essential. You will be working within UBS Finance Technology, joining a global dynamic scrum team of Business & Technical Analysts. The team supports local and global projects for various business units of UBS AG, with a mission to find solutions for strategic business challenges, analyze current processes and functionalities, and implement best-in-class solutions for customers and UBS business. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 12 years of SAP FI/CO project experience, including involvement in at least 2 full life cycle S4HANA implementations. In-depth knowledge of CO processes and functionalities, basic ABAP knowledge, and functional experience with front-to-back solutions for data feeds are required. You should also possess excellent consulting skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and experience working in Agile methodology and Scrum Teams. Experience with workflow visualization tools like Jira, knowledge of Interfaces, EDI/IDOCs, BAPIs, and the ability to work in multi-system environments are essential. Financial Services Industry experience, very good English language skills, and a proactive hands-on attitude are desired qualities.
