Position Title : SAP FICO Consultant

Location: Chaibasa, Jharkhand

Qualification : Diploma/BE/B. Tech-Any

Experience: 10+ Years

Job Purpose:

To provide functional expertise, system configuration, support, and process improvements in the SAP FICO module, ensuring smooth financial and controlling operations aligned with the needs of a steel manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Implementation & Support

• Handle SAP FICO module configuration, testing, and support for Finance & Controlling processes (FI, CO, COPA, PCA, CCA, IO, Asset Accounting).
  
• Manage end-to-end processes in

  steel plant costing, production costing, material valuation, WIP calculation, and overhead accounting

  .
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, map processes, and design efficient SAP solutions.
  
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities within SAP.
  

Steel PlantSpecific Finance & Costing

• Support

  product costing for steel production

  : SMS, CCM, WRM, DRI, Pellet, and Finished Goods.
• Analyze raw material costing (Iron ore, Coal/Coke, Scrap, Ferro-alloys).
  
• Configure and maintain

  Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Production Order Settlements

  .
• Manage integration with MM, SD, PP, PM modules to ensure accurate financial postings.
  

System Enhancements & Process Optimization

• Identify gaps in SAP processes and recommend functional improvements.
  
• Prepare and maintain functional specifications for ABAP developments.
  
• Support automation initiatives (MIS, dashboards, reporting).
  

Training & Documentation

• Provide end-user training to Finance, Stores, Production, and Commercial teams.
  
• Prepare SOPs, user manuals, configuration documents.
  

Issue Resolution

• Handle daily ticketing, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
  
• Coordinate with SAP BASIS/ABAP teams for technical issues.
