Sap Data Migration Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own and lead the data migration track

   for the S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation project.
2. Design and drive the

   data migration strategy and roadmap

   , aligned with SAP Activate methodology.
3. Lead

   data extraction activities from SAP R/3 4.7 system

   , including scoping and profiling of legacy data.
4. Collaborate with business and functional teams to

   define mapping rules and transformation logic

   for migrating to standard S/4HANA Public Cloud templates.
5. Develop and validate

   data mapping and transformation rules

   using tools like SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC, or relevant ETL tools.
6. Manage

   data cleansing, enrichment

   , and

   harmonization activities

   in coordination with business stakeholders.
7. Lead data load cycles including

   mock loads, reconciliation, validation

   , and sign-off.
8. Establish and execute the

   data cutover plan

   , ensuring business continuity and minimal risk.
9. Act as a liaison between

   technical teams, functional leads, and business SMEs

   to ensure quality and compliance of migrated data.
10. Provide

    guidance on data governance, archiving, and retention

    during the transition from legacy systems.
11. Lead the

    issue resolution and quality assurance

    of data migration deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum

   10 years of experience

   in SAP Data Migration, with at least

   2 full-cycle S/4HANA Public Cloud or S/4HANA On-Premise implementations

   .
2. Strong hands-on experience in

   SAP R/3 4.7

   , data structures, and tables across key modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, etc.).
3. In-depth knowledge of

   S/4HANA Public Cloud standard data templates and structures

   .
4. Expertise in

   SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC, LTMOM)

   and/or third-party ETL tools like BODS, Syniti, or similar.
5. Experience with

   data profiling, mapping, transformation logic design

   , and

   data validation techniques

   .
6. Proven ability to manage

   data load cycles

   , mock runs, reconciliation, and cutover.
7. Familiarity with

   SAP Activate methodology

   and working in

   Agile/Scrum delivery models

   .
8. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
