Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, you will manage and administer SAP Basis environments to ensure system stability, performance, and security. Your responsibilities will include overseeing installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of SAP systems, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance for high availability. You will collaborate with functional and technical teams for system integrations and migrations, while ensuring compliance with security standards and implementing best practices for SAP Basis operations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and administer SAP Basis environments - Oversee installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of SAP systems - Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance - Collaborate with functional and technical teams for system integrations and migrations - Ensure compliance with security standards and implement best practices for SAP Basis operations Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and system management - Expertise in SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and cloud/hybrid deployments - Strong knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and transport management - Hands-on experience with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex SAP landscapes Additional Company Details: At Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to shape your career with a range of career paths and internal opportunities within the Capgemini group.
