Description
The SAP Ariba Senior Web Services Specialist will collaborate with Integration teams and the client to identify, configure, and customize the SAP Ariba Web services for the relevant modules. Working closely with SAP functional consultants, you will determine the suitable SAP Ariba Web services and liaise with Integration teams like MuleSoft to facilitate mapping sessions between the source and SAP Ariba WS for each field based on client requirements. Your responsibilities will include clarifying requirements with the Client and Integrations team, reviewing mapping and business requirements, extracting data modeling, definitions, formats, and validations from client requests, and mapping between source systems and SAP Ariba for both Inbound and Outbound data flows. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and documenting mapping sheets for endpoints, field mappings for each interface, E2E process flows, and workflows on Source destinations as well as within SAP Ariba. Furthermore, you will provide support to the Integrations and testing teams for debugging purposes and address custom fields, permission issues, and authentication/authorization challenges to access the SAP Ariba WS effectively. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT, Business Computer, or related fields - Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in SOAP webservices, REST APIs, Swagger, POSTMAN tools, Agile methodology, and all aspects of Software Engineering and Systems Development Life Cycle SDLC - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Web services - Documented involvement in at least 3 complete implementation cycles of SAP Ariba Web services expertise - Profound understanding of SAP Ariba Functional knowledge in primary modules on the SAP platform such as Sourcing, SLP, Contracts, Invoicing, Buying, SCC, Commerce Automation - Ability to configure and activate SAP Ariba Webservices for each module, establish necessary Authentication, Authorization, and permissions for SOAP service invocation in both Inbound and Outbound communications - Proficiency in investigating and documenting data definitions, field layouts, and volume requirements from clients for SAP Ariba WS on data definitions and mappings between source and destination systems - Extensive knowledge of SAP Ariba WS encompassing synchronous, asynchronous, and bulk options, supporting Integrations team and testing teams in debugging SAP Ariba WS effectively.,
