Sap Abap Consultant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and implement high-quality SAP solutions. The role involves working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, forms, and enhancements in SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom

  ABAP programs

  including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
• Work on

  Object-Oriented ABAP

  (OOABAP), CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Develop and optimize

  Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts

  .
• Implement and support

  User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Frameworks

  .
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve ABAP-related issues in SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, HR, etc.).
  
• Optimize code performance and ensure compliance with

  SAP coding standards

  .
• Support

  SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4 HANA implementations

  .
• Maintain technical documentation for developments and enhancements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in

  ABAP programming

  .
• Knowledge of

  RICEF objects

  and ABAP Workbench.
• Experience with

  OOABAP, ALV Reports, BAPIs, BDC, and IDocs

  .
• Familiarity with

  Enhancement Frameworks (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements Spots)

  .
• Experience with

  SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Forms

  .
• Understanding of

  Performance Tuning

  in ABAP programs.
• Exposure to

  SAP HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, Core Data Services)

  is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of

  integration technologies

  (Proxy, RFC, ALE/IDoc, Web services).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  S/4 HANA migration projects

  .
• Knowledge of

  Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP backend

  .
• Understanding of

  SAP Business Workflow

  .
• Familiarity with

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 4–9 years of relevant experience as an

  SAP ABAP Developer

  (varies by role level).
