SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with S/4HANA expertise to support our enterprise SAP landscape. The ideal candidate should be proficient in traditional ABAP and possess hands-on experience in S/4HANA-specific programming models such as CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services. This role is crucial for delivering performance-optimized and modern SAP applications in an S/4HANA environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA environment. Develop CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and consume them in Fiori applications. Create and enhance RICEF objects Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms. Work closely with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP, etc.) to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and expose OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. Perform code optimization, debugging, and performance tuning on S/4HANA. Support SAP Fiori/UI5 developers with backend logic using modern ABAP techniques. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and project planning. Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices. Required Skills: 5+ years of core ABAP development experience. 12+ years of hands-on experience in S/4HANA development. Expertise in: CDS Views (Core Data Services) AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) OData and RESTful APIs ALV Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms Enhancements/User Exits/BADIs Experience in debugging and performance tuning in S/4HANA environment. Familiarity with Eclipse-based ABAP development tools (ADT). Preferred Skills: Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and integration. Experience in SAP Gateway and SAP HANA Studio. Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) or cloud integration. Understanding of SAP Activate methodology or agile project environments. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. SAP ABAP or S/4HANA development certification is an added advantage. Why Join Us?
