Job summary:

We are Seeking a experienced SAP APAB Consultant with 5 to 8 years of hand on development experience. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, Developing and supporting SAP ABAP applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. This is a full time on-site position available across our BCT offices in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• ADAB Development

  : Design, Develop, Test and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs and reports.

• Standard Enhancement:

  Implement enhancement using user exits, BADIs, and enhancement points in standard SAP applications.

• Data Migration:

  Develop programs and scripts for data conversion from legacy systems to SAP

• Workflow Automation

  : Design and implement SAP workflows to streamline business processes.

• Integration

  : Build and support interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, ALE and RFCs

• API & Middleware support

  : Contribute to API development and integration through SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI

• Troubleshooting:

  Identify and resolve issues in custom mode, standard SAP programs and system integrations.

• Code Review & Optimization

  : Conduct reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards and performance efficiency.

• Module- specific Development:

  Apply ABAP expertise in SAP modules like FICO, MM,SD or PP.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  : Partner with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Documentation

  : Prepare functional and technical documentation including design specs, test cases and user manuals,

• Testing and Quality Assurance:

  Perform Unit Testing and support system integration(SIT) and user acceptance testing(UAT)

• Support & Maintenance

  : Provide ongoing support to resolve defects and improve existing APAP developments

Requirements:

• 5-8 Years of strong SAP ABAP development experience, including full-cycle implementation and support projects.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• SAP ABAP Certification or other relevant SAP Credentials is a plus
• Proven ability to gather requirements, implement solutions and manage change effectively.
• Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting SAP applications.
• Experience in SIT, UAT and defect resolution.
• Familiarity with ABAP development standards, naming conventions and version control tools.
