Key Responsibilities Drafting and Design : Create detailed 2D drawings for HVAC systems using AutoCAD, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and industry standards. Collaboration with Engineers : Work closely with mechanical engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into design drafts. Revision of Designs : Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback from project managers and engineering teams. Documentation : Prepare and organize documentation related to design drafts, ensuring all files are up-to-date and accessible for team members. Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks on all drafts to ensure accuracy and compliance with project scopes and industry standards. Software Proficiency : AutoCAD Key Requirements Experience : 2 years of experience in drafting, specifically within the HVAC sector. Job summary Experience – 6-10 years & 10 to 13 Years (B.E /B.Tech Mech) Good Knowledge of GD& T Expert in Machining strategy incorporating excellent dimensional analysis, stock removal and clamping strategy -for manufacturing from Rod, Plate, Sheet, Casting and Forging. Knowledge on CNC Milling, Turning, Turn Mill, Mill Turn and other machining process Modelling & drafting using SolidWorks. MOS and Work Instructions preparation. Good knowledge of metrology - measuring instruments/gauge selection and setting the frequency of measurement. Creation of PPAP & PFMEA documents. Knowledge on Special process and Aerospace Materials. Good knowledge in Fixture designing and drafting- Aero Engine and Aero system components. Knowledge of Modular clamping, SMED concepts (Zero clamping). Should be able to coordinate with NC programmer and CFT to freeze the machining process. Should be able to trouble shoot FAI part prove out issues in shop floor. Configuration Management - ECN control & Change management Cutting Tool Design - Form Tools. AS9100 awareness. Hands on experience on CNC machines and part prove out is added advantage.
