1.To manage orders and ensure on time receipt of materials from sub contractors. * Plan Sub contract works on receiving the monthly plan. - Process and product knowledge - Working knowledge in computers - Ability to read drawings - Vendor Management * Ensure the materials reaches vendors on time. * Effective planning of group of materials to be despatched to vendors to reduce the cycle time and transport time. * RFQ process for new products and negotiate pricing with the help of engineering team. * Monitor and analyse vendor performance and quality. * Regular interaction with vendors to reduce the lead time. 2. Provide technical assistance for on time completion. * Provide required technical support to vendors by providing all drawings and technical instructions with the help of engineering department. - Analytical Ability - Communication skills * Arrange for tools, fixtures and any support as on when required. * Ensure the vendors bills carry all required details. * Follow up purchase department for order booking and payment clearance to vendors. 3. Ensure the finished products are delivered with quality and on time to vendors. * To be in regular touch with vendor production team for material inspection offering plan and follow up. - Fair knowledge on quality requirements * Co-ordinate with Quality department for certification and ensure the quality of products are as per requirements. * Ensure proper packing of materials and timely despatch.

Prepare tool requirements based on the monthly production plan. Preferring Machine shop process experience. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Prepare purchase request for tools procurement and follow up necessary internal approvals. Ensure the tools are available on time for production in adherence to the plan. Identify alternate vendors/suppliers for tools cost reduction without affecting the Quality and process time. Regular monitoring of the tools consumption and analyze the Cost Per Component. Inspect all the machines on a daily basis to measure the health of tools. Identify any defects or weak tools and arrange for the spares to avoid any further damage. Co-ordinate with Engineering Department for queries/clarifications on new product tool requirements. Ensure any abnormalities are escalated on time and appropriate corrective actions are taken. Identify vendors to supply tools with minimal lean time. Ensure all the tools are consumed as per the plan. Keep a track on the tools consumption on a regular basis and ensure Nil provisions of tools inventory.

To manage customer complaints related to casting defects. 4.Carry flexibility study (tolerance, complexities, infras tructure, new grade etc.,) upon receiving the RFQ from marketing department. 5.Preparation of detailed technlogy of pattern layout and sharing with patter shop 6.Creation of SAP codes for the new castings. 7.Preparation of PPAP documents and submit to customers and also preparation of process sheet for internal process. 8.Prepare and issue route card to the planning department. 9.Follow up with First stage, HT, fetling, NDT test and dimensional layout and ensure the castings are as per customer requirements. 10.Study and analyse the existings castings for quality and efficiency improvement & Focus on Yield improvement, cost reduction, process improvement, sand reduction etc. 11.Clarification of new product drawings with customers to identify their needs.

To ensure that the daily production targets are met as per the plan. 4. To delivery quality products. 5. Receive load plan for the shift and ensure the availability of resources. 6. Candidates preferred from Steel Foundry division. 7. Co-ordinate with quality for inspection and clearance of products. 8. Prepare and maintain KAIZEN documents and other production related documents. 9. Ensure the quality cleared products are despatched to the customer as per plan. 10. Exposure to Valve bodies / pump cases will be added advantage.
