Sanjay Kakade Group (SKG) is looking for an experienced Legal Manager specializing in Real Estate Law, with expertise in the Maharashtra legal framework. The role requires a strong focus on RERA compliance, conveyancing, legal drafting (Marathi & English), and managing regulatory liaison to protect the company's interests across its residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Drafting, Vetting, and Negotiation: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a full spectrum of legal and commercial documents, including: Development Agreements, Conveyance Deeds, Sale Deeds, Leases. Joint Venture (JV) & Collaboration Agreements. Complex commercial contracts for vendors, partners, and stakeholders. Ensuring meticulous drafting and legal accuracy across all documents. 2. RERA Compliance and Litigation: Managing end-to-end RERA project registration and ensuring timely and accurate updating processes as per regulatory requirements. Handling litigation matters, including representing the company and managing external counsel in cases before the RERA Tribunal and Consumer Courts. 3. Conveyancing and Registration: Expertise in all aspects of conveyancing , including title verification, due diligence, and risk assessment for property acquisition. Proficiency and experience in the Agreement registration process at the Registration office (Sub-Registrar's Office). 4. Legal Advisory & Compliance: Providing timely and accurate legal guidance to the management and various departments on legal issues, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensuring all business activities, operations, and financial transactions comply with local, state, and central laws, including those relevant to the construction and real estate finance industry. 5. Liaisoning & Representation: Effective liaisoning and coordination with various Government Offices (e.g., Revenue, Town Planning, Local Bodies, etc.). Handling all aspects of legal issues and litigation, and representing the Company's interests at various courts and forums. Required Skill Sets & Qualifications 1. Educational - LLB/LLM from a recognized university. 2. Experience - Relevant years of experience working as a Legal Counsel/Manager in the Real Estate or Construction Industry. 3. Language & Drafting - Mandatory: Excellent command over legal drafting in English and Marathi. Proven ability to handle translation of documents (English to Marathi) accurately. 4. Domain Expertise - In-depth knowledge of RERA, Maharashtra Land Laws, Property Law, Conveyancing, Stamp Duty, and Registration Act. 5. Communication - Excellent written and spoken communication skills. 6.
