A business development manager in the tourism & foreign exchange industry is responsible for attracting new clients and maintaining existing business.Foreign exchange markets serve an important function in society and the global economy. They allow for currency conversions and facilitating global trade (across borders), which can include financial transactions They may also be responsible for: Identifying new opportunities : Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential clients and markets Developing relationships : Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key decision makers Managing the sales process : Overseeing the sales process from prospecting to implementation Setting goals : Setting sales goals and ensuring the sales team meets them Analyzing data : Tracking and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth Presenting to clients : Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients Negotiating : Negotiating business terms with new and existing clients Attending events : Representing the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences Working with the product team : Providing feedback from the market and future requirements to the product team Working with the marketing team : Working closely with the marketing team to finalize the strategy for sales A business development manager in the tourism & forex industry may need to be target oriented, eager to learn, confident, and punctual.
