Job Title: General Manager – Operations Location: Delhi, India Department: Operations Industry: Telecom and IT Reports To: Vice President / Managing Director Job Summary: The General Manager – Operations will be responsible for leading, planning, and managing all operational aspects of the Telecom and IT services division. This includes overseeing network operations, service delivery, IT infrastructure, customer support, vendor management, and driving operational excellence to ensure high performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities: Strategic Operations Management: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals. Lead day-to-day operations across telecom and IT functions, ensuring smooth, efficient, and scalable service delivery. Service Delivery & Customer Experience: Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery across all projects. Improve operational processes to enhance customer satisfaction and SLA adherence. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including technical, support, and administrative staff. Set performance targets, conduct reviews, and implement training initiatives. Financial & Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations. Monitor operational expenses and optimize cost-efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure operations comply with industry regulations, standards, and internal policies and Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks. Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers, technology partners, and suppliers. Good Negotiation skills for contracts and monitor service-level agreements. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or Master’s preferred. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Telecom and/or IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. In-depth understanding of telecom networks (4G/5G, fiber, VoIP, etc.) and IT systems (cloud, security, data centers). Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Certifications: Any certifications will be added advantage.
