Job Description

As a Salon Manager , you’ll be responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the salon. Your duties will include: Supervising Staff: Overseeing the work of beauticians, hairstylists, and other salon employees. Ensuring that all staff members adhere to salon policies and provide excellent customer service. Scheduling Shifts: Creating employee schedules, considering peak times and seasonal demands. Ensuring adequate staffing during busy hours. Promoting Services: Actively promoting salon services to attract new clients. Utilizing social media and other marketing channels to showcase the salon’s offerings. Inventory Management: Ordering beauty products (such as creams and essential oils) and replenishing stock. Keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring availability of necessary supplies. Equipment Maintenance: Arranging regular maintenance services for all salon equipment (e.g., hairdryers, styling chairs, etc.). Ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. Hygiene Practices: Implementing and enforcing hygiene practices across all beauty stations. Maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for clients and staff. Financial Management: Keeping updated records of costs and revenues (daily, monthly, and quarterly). Handling client payments and tracking transactions. Staff Records: Maintaining accurate records of staff details, including salaries and working schedules. Requirements and Skills: Proven work experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar role. Good knowledge of beauty treatments, products (especially for skincare), and salon services. Basic Computer Skills Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle customer requests and complaints gracefully.
