Salesforce Testing Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, along with strong automation and API testing skills using industry-standard tools. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications through manual and automated testing, API validation, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionalities.
• Develop and maintain automation suites using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT), ensuring robust and reusable test scripts. Build automation frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Playwright, CRT, and TestNG, following Page Object Model (POM) and best practices.
• Perform comprehensive testing including functional, regression, integration, and API testing across Salesforce modules.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, triggers, custom objects, Lightning components, and integrations with external systems via APIs (SOAP, REST).
• Conduct API testing to validate external and internal API integrations, including API response validation, data correctness, and security checks.
• Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into test strategies.
• Manage and execute testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Copado, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
• Track, report, and verify defects using Jira, ADO, or other test management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, review test cases, and provide QA insights during sprint cycles.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, cases, scripts, and results.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in test automation, quality standards, and release processes.
• Support release readiness activities, including post-deployment validation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 6-10 years of QA/testing experience with a focus on Salesforce platforms.
